Long-distance move from Washington to Texas

Long distance from Wa. to Tx.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! Not only did we get charged more than twice the quote, but they lost and STOLE many many of our belongings and refuse to reimburse us, for anything!!! We had to pay prior to them loading and pay prior to them unloading.

We submitted a claim, in a very detailed and itemized statement, and we were told that we should have known what was missing before we signed and paid. Well, pretty hard to tell what was missing without being able to unload and unpack boxes.

This company is all about money and does not have your best interest and concern about your belongings. We know that they have STOLEN many of our items including, but not limited to 60 inch tv, furniture, personal items, collectables etc. amounting to thousands of dollars!!!

STAY AWAY!!!!!

Warning - SCAM company.

Consider yourself warned: this is a SCAM moving company
My experience was very similar to other reviews here and on other websites. Many of the positive reviews you’ll see are falsified with fake accounts from the company owners.

Should you choose to not heed my advice and hire the company anyway, here is what you will experience:
They will call you, be friendly, tell you they are a “family company” and make promises of their professionality. Then, they will bait you with a lowball estimate of packing and moving your belongings via an inventory over the phone (FIRST RED FLAG). Once your deposit (SECOND RED FLAG) is secured, it’s all down hill from there. On moving day, they will claim you “had more inventory than what was provided” (THIRD RED FLAG). Then, they will double or triple your moving price. If you decide to go ahead with their services, they may price pad in order to reach their desired cubic footage in their truck. For us, this manifested in underpacking boxes (most boxes were half filled), packing trash into boxes (literally, they put trash from their packing supplies and from our counters into boxes), and inefficiently packing boxes (i.e. an entire box of packing paper with only one plastic Tupperware inside).

On delivery day (which is often quite delayed, according to many reviews), you will likely have a third party company deliver your belongings (this was not disclosed to us prior to signing our contract). Our boxes arrived smashed and stained, and the majority of our furniture was damaged. My bikes were damaged nearly beyond repair. Many items inside the boxes were broken, as the movers did not appropriately wrap dishes, picture frames, books, professional clothing (indeed, ours were in the same box as unwrapped and dirty grill accessories), or lamps. When you call to report this, their line will be “we’ve never seen anything like this.” Additionally, an Amazon box was missing upon delivery. Their customer service representative, Richard, attempted to bully my husband via phone, saying, “Look, the box is gone. We don’t know where it is.” The box suddenly turned up a few days later, after my husband informed them that there was nothing of value in the box. Richard also attempted to bully me via phone when I was telling him of all the damage that was done to our belongings. He stated, “I didn’t want to say this over email, but tell me…tell me, how DID those grill accessories get in that box with the clothing? And how DID your mattress get torn and dirty? It couldn’t have been the movers…we’re all professionals here.” He went on to imply that we were either lying or had done the damage ourselves.

I followed up on our issues by photo and video documenting everything as it arrived. I then filed complaints with the BBB and Washington AG Office of Consumer Affairs. The consistent response of the company representative, Itay Dadon, was to protect their image, avoid responding directly to my concerns, and lie about the circumstances. Mr. Dadon even claimed I had doctored photos or boxes prior to taking photos, in order to make the company look like they had engaged in price padding.

Wonderful from Start to Finish.

We priced out many different moving options before we chose Full House Movers. Jason was friendly but not pushy while gathering our info for an estimate. He encouraged us to shop around, confident we would choose them. The services offered and the price made it difficult to pass up. The estimate of time needed and price was right on track. The moving team was nice and got right down to business. They listened to our needs, came up with the game plan and executed it flawlessly. Should we ever need to move in the future you can bet I'm calling them again!

Long-distance move from California to Washington

The worst, look elsewhere.

The absolute worst moving experience ever. If I could give them a negative 5 stars I would. They are deceptive in their quotes, lie about the coverage the provide, and throw on extra charges at every turn. For starters, their original quote included packing of various items, but at the end of the day it cost me an additional $600. Next, their delivery people on the other side (this was an interstate move) held my shipment hostage until I paid them an additional $2,500 on a binding agreement. Then there is the insurance issue. I was told that the shipment was covered for $108,000, hence I didn't feel the need to buy additional coverage. Numerous items were damaged such as the leg supports for the pool table being broken, an antique display cabinet was scratched and pitted, appliances were dented, irreplaceable sculptures were broken, and when it comes to filling the claim they said I'm only covered for 60 cents a pound. Considering they lost a box full of RC aircraft worth over $1,500 dollars (and the aircraft being light by design) I will be lucky to get $5.00 back for a loss of $1,495. Do yourself a big favor and look elsewhere for your moving needs. This company lacks integrity, professionalism, and are complete scammers. Perhaps this is part my fault for believing in the good in people, but unless you pay several thousand dollars extra for more insurance they will completely disrespect your property with no attempt to treat it as I would if I were in their position. Let the buyer beware.

Stay Stay Stay Away from Full House and Triple 7 Movers!!

Stay away!!  First they showed up to my apartment with a truck already 3/4 full.  They fit what they could and said they would have to come back tomorrow.  The problem was I didn't have the place tomorrow, AND, I needed to begin my drive that night (moving across two states).  Their solution?  Give me your key and we will come back tomorrow without you here and we promise to get all your stuff.  How frightening to have to wait 9 days to see if they upheld their end of the bargain.  Then, I go to pay them with a money order (money order or cash they told me) only to be told it has to be a "postal" money order.  How archaic!  Not every post office even does postal money orders anymore.  What could possibly be wrong with a Wells Fargo money order?  Off I went to find a bank so that I could cash the money order into cash.  To top it all off, the truck arrived with just two guys to unload and set up all my furniture.  This was horrific because the condo property I moved into states this type of activity must be completed by 6pm (which I had communicated clearly up front).  The truck arrived at 4:20pm.  Two guys.  I was told it would be four.  Really.  There were also several items damaged along the way.  One was a dresser that someone had clearly stood on and caved it in.  Stay stay stay away from Full House and Triple 7 Movers (the parent company)!!

Long-distance move from California to Oregon

Up-Charging, breaking items, not at all a full house move.

We hired Full House Movers based on our conversation with "Heidi" their salesperson. She said they were the best company, with a great BBB rating (complete lie), that they packed, and moved the whole house!

1) They didn't pack the whole house, they left much in the house that they either didn't see, didn't look for or decided not to pack.

2) They loaded the truck, then couldn't fit much of our stuff so they just left it unpacked.

3) They charged us nearly double their estimate, but didn't negotiate that or even give us a choice after loading the truck.

4) THey broke our art, our sleep number bed, our flat screen TV and many other items.

5) when they arrived at our destination in Bend Oregon they refused to chain the truck (in 12" of snow) and couldn't get up the driveway. They then started walking our precious items including a full sized grand piano and since they only had 2 guys on the destination end they couldn't lift it up the one flight of stairs which we fully disclosed they would be needing to do and were told it wasn't a problem.

6) We then sent them our complaint and they refused to address it.

7) We have filed an insurance claim and the insurance is just as hard to deal with as the movers.

They are NOT family owned, they do not keep their commitments and they spoiled what could have been a normal move and turned it in to a nightmare.

I have testified 7 times before Congress as a consumer advocate and have been a real estate broker for 27 years and have never witnessed such callous disregard in my life.

Buyer beware with full house movers. Use them at your peril and risk.

Long-distance move from California to Georgia

Bait & Switch Scam.

BAIT & SWITCH SCAM

We hired a moving company to move the furniture from California to Georgia. A contract was agreed to in advance for the move, including labor, wrapping, insurance, and so forth(all detailed on the contract).

Fast forward ahead to the day of the move. The problems start when the movers come in and say to us (just looking at the boxes in the apartment) that we have well in excess of what we discussed, we will have to renegotiate our moving contract because we have more than we talked about, after everything was on the truck they said the cost would be double.

I Found another moving company owned by the same people in Las Vegas call Triple 7 Movers. There were many complaints on RipOffReport.com

Long-distance move from California to South Carolina

Damage and unprofessional.

My move was horrendous to say the least. First, botched communication and moving dates. It took 4 different dates and times. I had rescheduled family and friends to help. My brother even flew out from Texas. His trip was cut short because we didn't move until 5 days later than expected.

I was promised professional movers. When the movers arrived at my new home, young men with no experience came from Craig's list.

Boxes came in ahead of furniture and were placed where furniture was meant to go. Rugs came in after the furniture. Carpet padding after rugs. It was a mess. Now, I have to hire someone to move furniture, so I can put the padding under the rugs.

As the evening was coming to an end, the driver announced that there was no more room in the house and the rest of the boxes had to go in the garage. Later, when I went upstairs, an entire bedroom was practically empty. Now, I have to go through boxes in the garage bit by bit and haul the contents into the house and up stairs. I am a senior.

I was promised great care would be taken with my antiques. Furniture arrived with broken pieces, scratches, and tears. Glass was broken. Two irreplaceable antique shelves are missing and not found yet. Binding was ripped off antique suitcases.

I cannot express enough how pathetic the whole moved started and ended.

Yes, I will take pictures and make a claim. At $0.60 a pound, I hardly think this company will pay for the value of the damages.

All I received from talking with the staff and owner was, "Sorry, make a claim.".

Long-distance move from Auburn, WA to Columbus, OH

Worst Moving Company Ever!!

Most reviews for this place are awful and my experience has been TERRIBLE!! Honestly the worst moving company ever!!
So they quoted us about $2200 to move, showed up and wanted an extra $1200!! I hadn't accumulated anything extra in the week or 2 since talking to them, but no way was I going to pay 1200! I had to move that day so I threw away and gave away a bunch of our stuff and STILL ended up paying $2600+. Unbelievable.
Then to top it all off, they just left our stuff in the truck and never moved at all for 2 weeks!! Meanwhile we are calling about our stuff, dispatch never knows where they are, when they are coming or anything useful. Now we just get voicemail. We can't reach the drivers, for all we know they took off with our stuff and we'll never see it again! Last I heard it had been 2 weeks and they still hadn't even started driving with our stuff yet. The driver blamed the dispatcher and the dispatcher blamed the weather. ?? Right.
We are out even more money because we couldn't stay in our new house yet without any sort of clothes, furniture, dishes, baby stuff, etc. We had just the essentials for a week to week and a half (a reasonable amount of time for the transition), and a very short term place to stay, just enough time for them to arrive with the stuff. My husband had to delay starting his new job because his work clothes and tools are on the truck which NEVER EVEN LEFT for 2 whole weeks!! I mean seriously, WTH?? Not to mention we had to extend our stay (more money), eat out because we have nothing to cook with (more money), find somewhere to launder our clothes (more money), get a few things for the baby, it's just positively unreal.

Edited to add:
Eventually they arrived, almost a MONTH after packing our stuff, they were completely disorganized, they brought in someone else's stuff by mistake, and some of our stuff was missing. Funny how our missing items were jewelry and baby items/diapers, things you can easily sell..
I also found out they used to go by the name Triple 7 Movers in Nevada, then went to California and went by the name Full house movers, then moved to Washington but kept the name. They've had countless complaints and were investigated by the BBB, then they shut down. Only to pop up elsewhere.. BEWARE!!

Hired day laborer from Home Depot

Do not use them. I paid $7000 for “professional“ movers from WA to CA. When our stuff was delivered it was by a guy they picked up at Home Depot that morning. Unacceptable. They broke our TV stand and lost our dining table.
